A Real Estate Plan (REP) to the feasibility report will be prepared. A REP is an overall <br />plan describing the minimum real estate requirements for the proposed project, including estates, <br />costs and schedules. The REP assures that the land required for the project is adequately <br />identified and the costs and schedule for acquisition are accurately established. The REP will be <br />prepared by the Government, become a part of the feasibility report and incorporated in the <br />Project Management Plan. Specifically, the REP will contain the following: <br /> <br />(1) The project name and location. <br /> <br />(2) A general description of the area and total acreage to be acquired. The total <br />acreage will be broken down as to fee and the various types of easements required and the reasons <br />thereof. <br /> <br />(a) If any federally owned land is within the area, the REP will indicate the <br />federal estate, degree of interest required.forproject purposes, and views oflocal representatives <br />of the controlling agency as to use for project purposes. <br /> <br />(b) If any local sponsor-owned land is within the area, the REP will indicate <br />the local sponsor's estate and degree of interest required for project purposes. <br /> <br />(3) An indication of the number and cost of Public Law 91-646 relocations, including <br />the number of persons, farms, and businesses to be displaced and information regarding the <br />availability of replacement housing. <br /> <br />(4) An assessment of the local sponsor's land acquisition experience and ability to <br /> <br />acquire. <br /> <br />(5) A baseline cost estimate .for- .real estate will be included as an exhibit to the REP. <br />The baseline cost estimate will be developed in accordance with ER 405-1-12, dated January 1991, <br />ER 37-2-10, EC 1110-2-263, ER 1110- 2-265 and EC 1110-2-538. <br /> <br />(6) A map showing the project area, including minimum estates, property lines, <br />utilities and facilities to be relocated, space needed, and any known or potential HTRW lands. <br /> <br />(7) A statement describing the present or anticipated mineral activity in the vicinity of <br />the project which may affect the operation thereof and a recommendation regarding the acquisition <br />of the minerals, if any. <br /> <br />(8) <br /> <br />A discussion conceruing any proposed non-standard estates. <br /> <br />SECTION B, PAGE 12 <br />
