~/O:J

I

We wrapped up all the hydrologic work and
so forth that we have been doing down there
and have it filed in a fashion that we can
reinitiate that and have ready access to it
when it is needed.

We did do some economic studies, particu-
larly the taking of farm schedules, and so
forth, in the North Sterling Ditch service
area before we discontinued work down there.

On the Cache la poudre Unit, the mapping
of the damsite has been completed and location
of the road around the north side was begun
but due to weather conditions there we have
shut down until spring. We started diamond
drilling but discontinued that work also on
account of two things, both weather and the
fact that we wanted the drill at the Two Forks
site in the South Platte Canyon and we moved
up there on that job. We have determined the
depth to bedrock in the valley at the Idylwilde
Dam site and we find it to be 41 feet which is
really relatively shallow.

We started some topographic surveys of
plains reservoirs to determine the amount of
sedimentation that has taken place and to
make studies on the transfer of storage space
in those plains reservoirs up into the Idyl-
wilde site.

OUr hydrologic studies on the Cache la
poudre Unit are about 20 percent completed.

I

On the Trinidad Project we have the report
in the final editing stage and hope to have it
completed in the very near future; that is,
the putting together and printing of the report.
We had hoped that we would be able to have in
that the approval of the Arkansas Valley Ditch
Association, the Southeastern Colorado Water
Conservancy District, and the Arkansas River
Compact Commission in agreement in that report.
We may not be able to have that in for the
final report and we may have to only point out
