the problems we have there for later settle-
ment but we are going to complete the report
and issue it.

The Green Mountain Afterbay report is
being reviewed in the Regional Office and we
find there that it is not justified to continue
with feasibility investigations at this time.
We think that perhaps in two years when other
matters have been more clearly settled on the
upper part of ~he river and the power situa-
tion, as far as "marketing of peaking power,
and so forth, that we may be warranted to
reopen those investigations at that time. At
the present time it doesn't appear that we
should spend any more ,time or money on it.

On the Upper South Platte Unit, which
covers all of the Upper South platte Basin
from the confluence of the Cache la poudre
and the South Platte River, we are making
pretty good progress there. That study, as
you know. is being done with state money and
we will have a report out on that in June.
We are concentrating our efforts. of course,
on the Two Forks Pam and Reservoir, Powerplant
and Afterbay, and we will have an inventory
discussion in the report of tributary develop-
ments that might be taken into account also,
and a reconnaissance looksee at the terminal
reservoir below Denver, not the Narrows
Reservoir but one in between which might work
into that very well.

,We,have selected the sites of the '!'wo
Forks Reservoir and Afterbay for actual prelim-
inary designs and estimates and dam cost deter-
mi~ations on those two features.

The hydrologic studies are about completed
for the whole report and we are working on the
~ptimum size determination of the reservoir
i~self. We are also completing the work on
the costs of right-of-way for the Two Forks
Reservoir to be included in the total overall
cost.
