however, they are preparin9 tobutt9n that
report up and get it on its way without those
comments.

I

On the Dolores Project, the feasibility
report was submitted to the Commissioner on
May 31, 1963. The report is being drafted with
a few comments that had been received from a
field level review and is to be sent out for
distribution as required under the Flood Con-
trol Act of 1944.

The most recent activity on our Bostwick
Park, Fruitland Mesa and Savery-pot Hook Proj-
ects occurred this week in Washington. You
will recall we held field hearings on these
projects about a year ago. They had what we
hope are the final hearings, as far as the
House is concerned, yesterday and the day
before in Washington. On those hearings,
probably they didn't go along as well as we
anticipated but I expect as well as we could
reasonably expect. By the way, I was glad to
see that your Director here was such an able
rancher. He answered many rather technical
questions on farm size and ranching operations.

On the San Miguel Project, it is moving
along about on schedule. The final designs
have been completed and are under review on
many of the features.

I

Moving on to the West Divide Project, I
notice in the report they say it is slightly
behind schedule. 1 think we are essentially
on schedule. We are holding our final coordi-
nation meetings nOW with other cooperating
agencies. We have started a draft of our
report. If those things move along I think we
will be able to maintain our schedule on that
project.

On Dallas Creek I think we have picked up
a little bit on that report. It is under final
stage of drafting now. Essentially the majority
of the work has been completed in our office.
