The concluding report merely identifies the <br /> <br />summarized information on the project, and places the project in <br /> <br />a holding position until need for the water development occurrs. <br />'L. .'t., <br />The Meeker Dome at Glenwood-Dotsero solenity control projects <br />~ <br /> <br />will be undertaken by outside consultants. Similarly the McElmo <br /> <br />Creek unit. There is continuing work on the lower Gunnison unit <br /> <br />another solenity control project. <br /> <br />A cooperative study with the Fish and Wildlife service is <br /> <br />underway on endangered species. It is a two year analysis in the <br /> <br />upper Green Upper Colorado River area to assess the relationship <br /> <br />of project development on endangered species. <br /> <br />Mr. Plumber mentioned the colorado River Basin information <br /> <br />base program which has funding for fiscal year 8l. It will assist <br /> <br />in preparation of a hmmilative impact analysis relating to site <br /> <br />specific proposals. <br /> <br />Chairman Stapleton then called on Mr. Jack Sanders representing <br /> <br />the Southweat Region. He described the status of the closed basin <br /> <br />project in the San Louis Valley. The Department of the Interior <br /> <br />has concluded that re-authorization is necessary before construction <br /> <br />can be authorized. The reason being tha t significant design changes <br /> <br />have been made since the initial 1972 authorization. Design work <br />
