Project Type: Canal Rehabilitation <br />This $325,000 project is the rehabilitation of the Pine River Canal at the Tunnel Hill site, <br />located 8 miles southeast ofIgnacio. The project consists ofreplacing a water supply tunnel in <br />poor condition, with approximately 700 lineal feet of 72 inch diameter concrete pipe, bypassing <br />the tunnel completely. The Natural Resources Conservation Service is completing the design <br />plans with construction scheduled to commence in late 1999 or early 2000. <br /> <br />Rvan Gulch Reservoir Companv - Rvan Gulch Dam Rehabilitation <br /> <br />Authorization: SB 99-173 County: Larimer- S. of Loveland <br />Water Source: Big Thompson River Project Yield: 645 ac.ft. <br />Terms of Loan: $317,500 @4.25% for 30 years Project Type: Dam Rehabilitation <br />This project is the rehabilitation of the Ryan Gulch Dam which includes the construction <br />of a new spillway, lining the upstream face of the dam with a clay liner, sleeving the existing 24- <br />inch outlet pipe, and constructing a new upstream controlled inlet works. Boyle Engineering, <br />Inc. of Denver has been contracted to complete the project design, which is scheduled for <br />construction in early 2000 . <br /> <br />Highland Ditch Companv - Foothills Reservoir Dam Rehabilitation <br /> <br />Authorization: SB 98-1198 - Severence Tax County: Boulder- W ofLongmont <br />Water Source: St. Vrain River Project Yield: 450 ac.ft. <br />Terms of Loan: $1,040,000 @ 4.0% for 30 years Project Type: Dam Rehabilitation <br />This project is the rehabilitation of Foothills Reservoir dam, located west of Longmont in <br />Boulder County. The dam has an inadequate spillway and severe seepage through the embankment <br />and has had a storage restriction placed on it by the State Engineer. The Highland Ditch Company <br />has contracted with Smith Geotechnical Engineering Consultants of Fort Collins to analyze design <br />alternatives and complete construction plans and specifications. Construction is scheduled to <br />cornmence in early 2000. <br /> <br />Riverside Reservoir and Land Companv - Riverside Reservoir Spillwav Rehabilitation <br /> <br />Authorization: SB 98-1189 County: Weld - NW of Wiggins <br />Water Source: South Platte River Project Yield: 200 ac.ft. <br />Terms of Loan: $450,000 @3.75%for20yrs. Project Type: Spillway Rehabilitation <br />This project is the construction of an emergency spillway on the Riverside Reservoir Dam, <br />located 11 miles northwest of Wiggins in Weld County.
