The project is located in Rio Grande County, 3 miles east of Monte Vista. The <br />Alamosa office of the Natural Resource Conservation Service has prepared the design plans with <br />the CWCB staff preparing the construction contract documents. Project construction has been re- <br />scheduled to commence in July 2000 and be completed in late 2000. <br /> <br />Boulder & Lefthand Irrigation Companv - Twin Lakes Outlet Improvements <br /> <br />Authorization: 1998 Small Project Loan Account County: Boulder - NE of Boulder <br />Water Source: Boulder Creek Project Yield: 218 ac.ft. <br />Terms of Loan: $50,000@3.75%for 15 years Project Type: Dam Outlet Improvements <br />This project is the reconstruction of the Boulder & Lefthand Irrigation Company reservoir's <br />(Twin Lakes) outlet and inlet structures. Recent State Engineer Office inspections indicate that the <br />outlet conduit has rusted through and is functionally obsolete. Rocky Mountain Consultants of <br />Longmont are currently preparing the improvement design with construction scheduled for the year <br />2000. <br /> <br />Loveland. City of - Green Ridge Glade Reservoir Rehabilitation <br /> <br />Authorization: HB 98-1189 County: Larimer <br />Water Source: Big Thompson River Project Yield: 6,000 acre feet <br />Terms of Loan: $2,000,000 @ 4.75% for 10 yrs. Project Type: Dam enlargement <br />This $19.2 million project is the enlargement of the Green Ridge Glade Reservoir northwest <br />of Loveland. The project consists of raising the crest of the existing dam approximately 60 feet, <br />construction of a new concrete labyrinth weir spillway, and new multi-level intake gate tower outlet <br />structure. The City has contracted with Woodward-Clyde of Denver to prepare the final design and <br />construction contract documents. Enviromnental studies are currently underway with construction <br />scheduled to commence in early 2001. <br />
