r.m. PETERSON:

"Mr. Chairman, I hate to be taking the
floor so much, but the next item
you have on the list is one in our
particular area. I talked to
Mr. Reed Black in the Grand Junction
office, Bureau of Reclamation.
He tells me that after July this
year, he could next use this
small project in his program. I
would therefore move that Bostwick
Park be second in priority and
that the amount of state funds
indicated be expended if necessary."

on vote being taken, was carried unanimously.

"I notice we have appropriated
about $60,000. Would it be out
of order to suggest we would-
leave $10,000 to $15,000 for
investigation which might not come
through the Bureau of Reclamation.
Is there any reason why we
should not let that rest until the
next meeting?"

"What do we want to do with the
Dean's suggestion? It seems
to be quite sound';"

"If,the Bureau cannot secure technical
help to assure a speed-up there
is no use putting up money."

"I think we would be interested in
knowing next priority; At some time
in the future there will be Ohio
Creek or Dallas Creek."

"We have established one list."

"We have No. I--Fruitland Mesa and
No. 2--Bostwick Park. The others
are also on the Gunnison. There
is to be a West Divide report out
on the first of July."
