"I think some of these others should be
considered in the phone conversation to get
a quick report on what has happened. The
newspapers do not always get the full idea
of the thing and I think it would be well
for Mr. Crawford to get this for us on
some of the projects. We might go ahead
then with the rest of them: the planning
reports under Item 4."

"I want, if possible, to find out on which
projects State money should be spent
in cooperation with the Bureau of
Reclamation. Is Fruitland Mesa worth-
while in order to save: at least a'year
or two years' time? How about Bostwick
Park and Dallas Creek?"

"Mr. Chairman, I would like to set forth
a listing of priorities in the Gunnison
River Basin. Fruitland Mesa comes first,
Bostwick Park, second. There is some
question about Ohio Creek,. we listed
that as third, Grand Mesa, fourth; Dallas
Creek, fifth, and Tomichi Creek, sixth."

There was a brief discussion among members.

"Concerning Mr. Peterson's remark--
Fruitland,Mesa and Bostwick Park are
probably in order of one and two. ' We
might consider those and consider the
Fruitland Mesa first.".

"Mr. Chairman, I have spoken on Fruitland
Memat every meeting. I don't think I
need to elaborate except to state.it
is in the nature of an emergency. I would
like to move that Fruitland Mesa be
considered as first priority."

"I second the motion."

On vote being taken, the motion was carried unanimously.
