This project is the rehabilitation of the Western Mutual Ditch Company's South Platte River
check dam across the river from their diversion structure. The check dam creates a backwater along a
river side-channel created by an island on the south side of the river, and diverts the flow to the
Company's diversion structure on the north side of the river. The project is located in Weld County, 2
miles northwest of PIatteville. Rocky Mountain Consuhants of Longmont has prepared the design
plans and construction contract documents. Construction is scheduled to connnence in early 1999,
depending upon receipt of access approvals, and will be completed in 1999.

Greelev and Loveland Irrigation Company - Horseshoe Darn #2 Outlet Rehabilitation

This project is the rehabilitation of the Horseshoe Darn #2 outlet structure, located just
northeast of Loveland in Larimer County. The outlet became inoperable in May 1998 and has been
temporarily blocked shut since then. The Greeley and Loveland Irrigation Company has contracted
with Boyle Engineering Corporation of Lakewood to analyze design alternatives and complete
construction plans and specifications. Construction is scheduled to commence in the early spring of
1999 with completion scheduled for the late spring of 1999.

Boulder & Lefthand Irrigation Company - Twin Lakes Outlet Imorovements

Terms of Loan: $50,000 @3.7S% for 15 yearsProject Type: Darn Outlet Improvements

This project is the reconstruction of the Boulder & Lefthand Irrigation Company reservoir's
(Twin Lakes) outlet and inlet structures. Recent State Engineer Office inspections indicate that the
outlet conduit has rusted through and is functionally obsolete. Rocky Mountain Consuhants of
Longmont are currently preparing the improvement design with construction scheduled for 1999.
