This $343,000 project is the construction of a new concrete headgate and turnouts, and
construction of approximately 13,000 feet of PVC pipeline replacing an open channel ditch in Delta
County northeast ofDeha, Colorado. The Delta and Grand Junction Office of the Natural Resource
Conservation Service prepared project design. Project construction commenced September 8, 1997 by
K C Equipment and Consulting ofDeha, Colorado. Phase I of the project was completed in December
1997. The final Phase IT project commenced November 2,1998 and was completed in January 1999.
Final documentation and accounting is currently underway with substantial completion scheduled in
February 1999.

This $325,000 project is the re-construction of the Buffulo Mutual Irrigation Company's
diversion structure and headgate on the Arkansas River in Prowers County 17 miles east of the City of
Lamar. Wright Water Engineers of Denver, Colorado completed project design and preparation of
construction contract documents. The construction contract was awarded to TLM Constructors, Inc.
of Swink, Colorado and construction commenced September 21, 1998. The project is currently 90"10
complete with completion scheduled for early March 1999.

This $335,000 project is the re-construction of approximately 2 miIes of open ditch, which has
previously been a!)llndoned and funned over. Also included in the project is the construction of several
pump stations for water delivery. The project is located in Pueblo County 10 miles east of Pueblo.
Project design was prepared by the Pueblo Office of the Natural Resource Conservation Service, Ralph
Adkins, P.E. of Pueblo, Irrigation Engineering of Alamosa and Hendrooke Sprinklers ofFt. Collins.
Project construction commenced in May 1998 with project completion scheduled for April 1999.
