Lefthand Ditch Comoany - Lefthand ValIev Reservoir Rehabilitation

Project Type: Dam Rehabilitation

This project is the resuh of the State Engineer's order to increase the spillway capacity of the
Lefthand Valley Reservoir in order to comply with dam safety rules and regulations regarding
downstream structures. The project includes the replacement of the current spillway with a larger
roller compacted concrete spillway and sti11ing basin. Rocky Mountain ConsuItants of Longmont,
Colorado completed the permitting process, design engineering and preparation of construction
contract docwnents. The construction contract was awarded to Gears, mc. of Crested Butte,
connnenced September 1, 1998, and was completed in January 1999. Project documentation and final
accounting is currently underway with substantial completion scheduled in January 1999.

Wamslev Cattle Comoanv - Pole Mountain Dam

Project Type: Dam Rehabilitation

This dam rehabilitation project commenced in March 1994 by the owners of the Wamsley
Cattle Company. The project consists of replacing the reservoir's outlet structure and improving the
dam's upstream slope. The work is 99"10 complete with the final inspection by the State Engineer's
office comp1eted in December 1997. Project documentation and final accounting is currently underway
with substantial completion scheduled in February 1999.

Johnstown. Town of-Raw Water Pioeline

Terms of Loan: $2,500,000 @4% fur 30 yearsProject Type: Pipeline Construction

The project includes the replacement of I 1 miles of open ditch with a 14-16 inch pipeline from
Lonetree Reservoir to the Town of Johnstown's water treatment plant including a booster station at the
reservoir and connection fucilities at the treatment plant. PRC Environmental Management, mc. of
Denver designed the project. The construction contract was awarded to Hall-Irwin Construction Co.
of Greeley and B. T. Construction, Inc. of Broomfield August 6, 1996. Construction commenced in
early October 1996 and was completed in June 1997. Project documentation and final accounting is
currently underway with substantiaI completion scheduled in February 1999.
