The 'Report on the Upper Arkansas River
Basin, Colorado-Kansas' was prepared in final
form and submitted to the Regional Office on
April 1, 1969. The report is scheduled for
printing in May 1969.

Under future investigations, the follow-
ing bills have been introduced in the Congress
to authorize feasibility investigations of
the potential Front Range and Armel Units in
Colorado, H. R. 5170 and S. 574. These are
for authorization. We also have the money
for the investigations in the appropriations
bill but unless the authorization bills are
passed, we won't be able to spend the money
that is in the appropriation bill.

I think that does it for Region 7.

switch to have money and no place to use it."

"Well, we don't have the money yet either.
I shouldn't say that. But we do have a bill
in there. However, before we can spend that
money, we have to have the authorization
passed for feasibility studies."

is the report on Region 4, Bureau of Recla-
mation, activities in Colorado.

Under construction, the Curecanti unit
of the Colorado River Storage Project, the
firm of Gunther and Shirley Company submitted
