<br />Lang introduced Floodplain Resolution No. 92-321 to designate and approve a <br />floodplain information published by FEMA in a new Flood Insurance Study for the .. " <br />Town of Windsor, Colorado. The PIS reflects new basin hydrology prepared by the <br />Corps of Engineers for tjJ.e Cache la Poudre River Basin. <br /> <br />A motion was made by Harrison and seconded by Smith to adopt Floodplain <br />Resolutions 92-315, 92-320, and 92-321. The motion passed by unanimous (8-0) <br />decision. <br /> <br />18e. Floodplain Management Program . Status Report for Undesignated Floodplains* <br />(12:07 - 12:13 p.m.) <br /> <br />Larry Lang informed the Board that 25 ,communities in Priority 1 received a letter <br />notifying them of the backlog of undesignated floodplain studies and the expected <br />delay in getting them designated by the CWCB. Lang outlined the other priorities and <br />a schedule for designating the remaining 103 studies. Discussion followed by Duncan <br />and Sheftel. Lang will report on any responses from the communities at the next <br />meeting. <br /> <br />18f. Floodplain Management Program - Flood Emergency Fund (added) <br />(12:13 - 12:14 p.m.) <br /> <br />. "..-. -, -.'I'.2C.J__ .)ii~-_, ... ._ <br />Larry Lang commented, in regard to previous discussions on Sanchez Reservoir, that <br /> <br />there is already statutory authority for a flood emergency assistance program but it has <br /> <br />never been funded. <br /> <br />1.' <br />. <br /> <br />18g. Floodplain Management Program. Grand Junction Meeting (12:14 - 12:15 p.m.) <br /> <br />Larry Lang suggested there would be an opportunity for the Board to tour the <br />Colorado River Redevelopment Project by the City of Grand Junction and Mesa <br />County should the Board select Grand lunction for the September 1992 Board <br />meeting. <br /> <br />21. Rules and Regulations (U:16 - U:20 p.m.) <br /> <br />Steve Sims, AG's staff, discussed the second draft of instream flow rules and <br />regulations for review and comment. Due to limited time, Sims suggested the Board <br />conduct a line-by-line review at a workshop. Martineau and Harrison made additional <br />comments. <br /> <br />9.
