The project restores damage caused by the July 1997 Pawnee Creek flood and protects <br />the benefit of irrigation water to about 10,000 acres of cropland, The project was designed by the <br />Natural Resource Conservation District, Sterling office and was constructed by R&R International, <br />Inc, of Denver, Construction commenced March 16, 1998 and was completed April IS, 1998, <br />Project documentation and final accounting is currently underway with substantial completion <br />scheduled in July 1998. <br /> <br />Wamslev Cattle Company - Pole Mountain Dam <br /> <br />Authorization: HB 93-1273 <br />Water Source: Off-Stream Drainage <br />Terms of Loan: $4S,000 @ 3% for 40 years <br /> <br />County: Jackson - SW of Walden <br />Project Yield: 1,90S ac,ft, <br />Project Type: Dam Rehabilitation <br /> <br />This dam rehabilitation project commenced in March 1994 by the owners of the Wamsley <br />Cattle Company. The project consists of replacing the reservoir's outlet structure and improving the <br />dam's upstream slope, The remaining work includes placement of the upstream face riprap and <br />insta1lation of the outlet gate.
