Excavation was completed on Tunnel No. 2 on July 13,

you are to give that? Please."

MR. MOULDER:

"f-Ir. Chairman, members of the Board, ladies
and gentlemen, I am glad to find out that our
runoff forecast agrees reasonably well with that
given by Mr. Crandall. The rainfall that we
had during the early summer helped out the run-
off forecast appreciably. If conditions remain
normal during August .and September, the runoff
for the '67 water year will be about 8~~ to 85%
of normal in most of.the mountain area, near
normal in the North Platte niver Basin, but
only about two-thirds normal in the Rio Grande,
San Juan, and upper.South platte River Basins.
Ground water use during the early part of the
irrigation season was much below normal owing
to tl,e abundance of precipitation. Adequate
ground-\yater storage \"lill be available to
accommodate any irrigation needs for the re-
mainder of the 1967 irrigation season.

Since the last Board meeting four Survey
reports have been released. One of them is
the report on streamflow records for 1966 water
year and I believe most of the people havere-
ceived their copies. of that by now. It was
mailed out August lO. A report on the Air
Force Academy was a major undertaking and was
accomplished by both the Geological Division 1
and the Water Resources Division. .It came out
as a Professional paper and is available from
the Government printing Office or if anybody
would like to see it they can find a copy in
the library or out at our offices.
