that statement many times but they inform me
that it really will be released shortly.

On the Fryingpan-Ar]~ansas project, which 1
is our largest construction project in our
region, the contractor for the construction of
Ruedi Dam has completed 88 percent of the con-
tract with about 86 percent of the contract
time gone. The contractor for clearing and
fencing of Ruedi is practically complete with
99.7 percent completed with 80 percent of the
time gone.

The contractor for construction of the
Divide, South Fork, and Chapman Tunnels, diver-
sion dams, and appurtenant structures of the
South Side Collection system has completed 62
percent of the contract. Excavation of the
tunnels has progressed as follows: Divide,
19,1OO feet with 9,000 feet to go; South Fork,
some l6,000 feet with some 400 feet to go. The
contractor continued concrete placements in the
curb and false invert in Chapman Tunnel. Con-
crete placements were resumed for the Chapman
Diversion Dam and feeder conduit. Clearing and
excavation activities were initiated in the
Fryingpan Valley area and the South Fork Valley
area.

The contractor for construction of Sugar
Loaf Dam and roads has completed 35 percent of
the contract with about 52 percent of the con-
tract time elapsed. The contractor continued
placing Zones 1, 2, and 3 in the dam effibaru,ment
and initiated rip-rap placement on the upstream
face of the dam. Diversion of Lake Fork Creek 1
through the outlet wOD,s was accomplished on
May 3. Concrete placements are continuing on
the spillway conduit.

The contractor on the major portion of the
county Road No. 104 relocation and improvement
had completed 99~ percent of the contract with
