WHEREAS, the staff of the Board has reviewed said
revised information and data and does hereby recommend to the
Colorado Water Conservation Board that the Board designate and
approve as floOdplain areas those areas inundated by a 100-year
flood (intermediate regional flood) as described by the floodwater
surface elevations and profiles in said new report, and further
recommends that the floodplain designation for a portion of 1
Boxelder Creek commencing at E-W center section line of Section 4,
T8N, R68W, 6th PM, running thence upstream to E-W center section
line of Section 28, T9N, R68W, 6th PM, as approved by the previOUS
resolution adopted June 3, 1970, be rescinded;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Colorado Water
Conservation Board in regular meeting assembled in Denver, Colorado,
this 31st day of January, 1979, that it does hereby designate and
approve as floOdplain areas those areas described as being inun-
dated by a 100-year flood as described by the floodwater surface
elevations and prOfiles in said new report for the Big Thompson
River, Fall River, Fish Creek, Buckhorn Creek, Redstone Creek, Dry
Creek, and Boxelder Creek, and does hereby rescind said portion of
the resolution adopted June 3, 1970; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Board is
directed to send a certified copy of this resolution to the Board
of County Commissioners of Larimer County, the Town of Wellington,
the united States Soil Conservation Service, and the Federal Insur-
ance Administration.
