At <br />the time of his death he was serving as State <br />Representative from Boulder County in the Colo- <br />rado General Assembly. <br /> <br />Dean Crawford was awarded three degrees <br />from Colorado University, Bachelor of Science <br />in Civil Engineering, Civil Engineer, and an <br />Honorary Doctor of Science degree. <br /> <br />On August 27, 19l3, he married Helen Lee, <br />of Pueblo, Colorado, who, with his son, Ivan, Jr., <br />of Colorado Springs, and a grandson, Ian, sur- <br />vive him. <br /> <br />A vigorous administrator, Dean Crawford <br />gave dedicated, able service to the State of <br />Colorado at a time when most men would have been <br />content to rest upon well-earned laurels. His <br />dogged determination to duty, coupled with a <br />long background of executive and administrative <br />experience, was of great value to the State of <br />Colorado. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Colo- <br />rado Water Conservation Board, that the members <br />express their sincere regret upon the death of <br />Ivan Charles Crawford; that this Resolution be <br />spread upon the minutes of the Board as a <br />recognition of the services rendered the State <br />of Colorado by him; and that copies of this <br />resolution be sent to Dean Crawford's widow <br />and son.
