on every project feature. We expect to complete the proposed re-
port by June 1961.

I

On the Dolores project, as a result of land classifica-
tion and drainage studies, the Hovenweep area of Utah has been
eliminated and some acreage adjustments due to drainage problems
are expected to be made in the lower Montezuma Valley, and Towaoc
areas. The proposed feasibility report is scheduled for completion
in mid F.Y. 1962.

Investigations on the West Divide, Dallas Creek, and San
Miguel projects are progressing satisfactorily with reports
scheduled for F.Y. 1964. Special studies leading to feasibility
investigations were undertaken on the Yellow Jacket project this
year with funds contributed by the State of Colorado. Completion
of the report is scheduled for F.Y. 1966.

RECONNAISSANCE INVESTIGATIONS

Reconnaissance investigations were initiated this year
on the Grand Mesa project using funds contributed by the State of
Colorado. Ruedi reconnaissance investigations will be undertaken
with funds to be contributed by the State of Colorado. Clearance
for addition of this investigation was received from the Washing-
ton office very recently. The Ruedi investigation consists of a
study of the possible uses of water from potential Ruedi Reser-
voir on lands west of the Continental Divide. Progress has been
delayed on the reconnaissance investigations for Juniper and other
reservoirs on the Yampa River. As a result, we may not be able to
complete the reconnaissance report by June 1961 as originally
scheduled.

PROGRAM FOR FUTURE YEARS

I

The priorities of project investigations approved by the
Board on June 5, 1958, have been considered in preparing our pro-
gram. As now scheduled, feasibility investigations will start on
Battlement Mesa, Bluestone, and Parshall projects in F.Y. 1963,
Ohio Creek and Tomichi Creek Projects in F.Y. 1964, to be followed
by Grand Mesa, Troublesome, and Wessels projects in subsequent
years.

Reconnaissance investigations on the Dulce, Parshall,
and Upper Gunnison Basin projects are scheduled to start in F.Y.
1962.
