Stream and Lake Protection Section - Stream and Lake Protection - IrUury with <br />Mitigation - Case Nos. 7-83CW45 and 4-83CWI4; Application of United States of <br />America (Paradox Salinity Control Unit) <br />Tape 2, Track 3 00:00:00 - 00:24:43 <br />Action: A motion was made by Eric Wilkinson and seconded by Harold Miskel to <br />implement staffs recommendation that the Board approve a proposed <br />Memorandum of Agreement between the CWCB and the Bureau of Reclamation, <br />and to authorize the CWCB Director to execute the Memorandum of Agreement <br />on behalf of the Board, conditioned upon the Bureau of Reclamatifiln and the <br />Dolores Water Conservancy District finalizing a written agreement guaranteeing <br />the availability of the 700 acre-feet of water for Paradox augmentation purposes; <br />and to make a final determination that the natural environment of the Dolores <br />River can be preserved to a reasonable degree with the proposed injury or <br />interference to the Board's Dolores River instream flow water right with the <br />mitigation offered by the Bureau of Reclamation.
