MOSES: <br /> <br />"1 see there are some other matters <br />in the folders, Mr. Sparks." <br /> <br />Mr. Sparks stated one item was the matter of the San <br />Juan-Chama and Navajo Irrigation Projects Bill now in Congress;. <br />that the legal and.engineering committees investigating this <br />Bill ~ith the view of writing Colorado's proposed amendments <br />to same had been working very diligently and that an appropria- <br />tion of $4000.00 would be needed to pay for the studies. He <br />asked permission of the Board to approve the expenditure of <br />this amount from the special $50,000 appropriation passed by <br />the last legislature. Mr. Barnard, Jr. said that several of <br />the members of the Colorado committee had discussed the amend- <br />ments with New Mexico officials and that he personally had the <br />feeling that most, if not all, will be acceptable to the State <br />of New Mexico. <br /> <br />MR. PETERSON: <br /> <br />"I move the expenditure of $4,000 to <br />defray the expenses of this study, to be <br />appropriated from the $50,000 approved by <br />the last Legislature for such special <br />studies, subject to the approval of the <br />Governor." <br /> <br />MR.
