He also called attention to <br />the copy of letter in each folder addressed to the Honorable <br />Fred A. C. <br /> <br />Dear Sir: <br /> <br />We are advised that the Smith Fork Project in <br />West Central Colorado, a participating unit authorized under <br />the provisions of the Colorado River Storage Project Act, <br />will be ready for commencement of construction in F. Y. 1960 <br />pending the availability of funds for that purpose. <br /> <br />By resolution of the Colorado Water Conservation <br />Board at its regular meeting at Denver. Colorado, on July <br />30th, 1958, it was directed that a letter be forwarded to <br />you requesting that you include funds for the commencement <br />of construction on the Smith Fork Project in your budget for <br />F. Y. 1960. <br /> <br />We therefore urge your every consideration of this <br />request, so that the construction of this vitally needed <br />irrigation project can be commenced at the earliest possible <br />date. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />We wish to commend at this time the staff of <br />
