-............

irrigation of. some lands over in Nebraska in
accordance with the Republican River Compact.
There the topographic surveys for the Wray Reser-
voir have been completed and the planimetering
and other detail work on those planetable sheets
in order to prepare area capacity curves and" I
other engineering data for that reservoir are
well under way. Ne expect. that the report we will
write there will be a de'init. plan report ..,au..-
it is an authorized ptOj~cti but ~a expect that.
that report will ask for affirmation of the 1944
authorization since it has been SO long since the
project was authorized.

There has been no activity since our last
meeting on the st. Francis Unit. Another one
within Colorado but handled out of the McCook,
Nebraska office.

In the North Platte Projects Office at
Casper which is affected with Colorado work by
a transmission line from Cheyenne to Hayden or
Hayden to Cheyenne I guess would be the better
way to express it here, we received ten bids on
that transmission line which is an interconnection
with the Upper Colorado River Storage and the
eastern portion of the transmission grid in the
Missouri River Basin. We had ten bids, very good
bids, and they are under analysis and we expect
the contract to be awarded there in the very
near future. l'le were very pleased with these
bids; they were quite a little under the Engi-
neer's estimate.

As I reported at the last meeting, we have
established a construction office in Cheyenne
and Mr. Greenlaw, the Construction Engineer, has
an office there and is establishing his work and
getting his crews together, so as soon as this
contract is awarded that office will be acti-
vated further and actually pursue the construc-
tion.

I

Our South Platte Projects Office at Loveland,
which is largely an operation office as you know
for the ColoradO-Big Thompson Project and trans-
mission distribution works and powerplants of
