McCandless, Member <br />Colorado Water Conservation Board <br />Craig, Colorado <br /> <br />Dear Mr. McCandless: <br /> <br />Following is a resolution adopted by the Colorado <br />Game and Fish Commission at its meeting in Craig, Colorado, <br />on Friday, September 27, 1957: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The Colorado Game and Fish Commission has <br />given consideration to the construction of a dam at Juniper <br />Mountain for irrigation purposes, <br /> <br />AND WHEREAS, the construction of the Juniper Dam <br />would enhance the fish and wildlife resource of the State, <br /> <br />AND WHEREAS, the Commission feels that the construc- <br />tion of this dam would be a great economic asset to Colorado, <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Colorado Game <br />and Fish Commission recommends and urges the construction of <br />the Juniper Dam and that a copy of this resolution be trans- <br />mitted to the Colorado Water Conservation Board. <br /> <br />Very truly yours, <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Isl Thomas L.
