"We had the Army engineers come up
there and revise the figures immed-
iately after the flood this summer.
The sale of power might be small but
you will recall that the Curecanti was
authorized as an Upper Colorado River
Project. All we are trying to do is
get the best possible plan available.
I am sure that Mr. Dexheimer did not
want to give the impression, any more
than I wish to, that the Curecanti is
not feasible."

MR. PETERSON:

"Is there a quicker way whether or
not by assisting financially that this
Board can up the date of this report
before next June?"

MR. LARSON:

"I explained above that we were
not here asking for money and the pro-
cedure that will have to be followed."

"Are there any further statements
pertaining to the Curecanti or Paonia
projects at this time?

Another item on our agenda which
has to do with the projects we have
been talking about is item #4 "Legis-
lative Program for the Second Session
of the 85th Congress" and that is one
our Congressmen will be interested in
hearing about. Dean Crawford, do you
have something to say about this?"

Dean Crawford asked if the Savery-Pot Hook would
be ready to go into the Congress in February. Mr. Larson
said that the Bureau has three projects, the Collbran,
Fryingpan-Arkansas and, they hope, the Paonia, to be ready
for the next session of Congress.
