Jim." <br /> <br />"Mr. Chairman, members of the Board, <br />this is our report on Region 7, Bureau of <br />Reclamation activities in Colorado during <br />the period January and February, 1968. <br /> <br />On the Narrows unit, a Missouri River <br />Basin Project, the report of the Secretary <br />of the Interior dated February 8, 1968, is <br />under consideration within the Executive <br />Branch. I see there is more about this proj- <br />ect on the agenda later today. <br /> <br />The Upper South Platte unit of the <br />Missouri River Basin project, tentative <br />reservoir operation studies were completed <br />for the unit. These studies involved all <br />the existing and proposed features of the <br />water supply system located upstream from <br />Denver. <br /> <br />Studies were made to determine the <br />source and to establish the ownership of the <br />water to be placed in storage in Two Forks <br />Reservoir. <br /> <br />Concurrence has been reached at all <br />levels within the Bureau of Reclamation that <br />power generation is to be included in the <br />initial development. Designs are now being <br />prepared for a conventional peaking power- <br />plant to be located at the toe of Two Forks <br />Dam. <br /> <br />Also, hydrology studies are being <br />
