itself to a little more than 10 million
acre-feet for the year. We have these
numbers in our formal report here for some-
one who wants to get into this a little
more.

I

On the basis of this March 1 forecast,
Flaming Gorge Reservoir is 800,000 acre-feet
and we would store 200,000 of the Green River
runoff in Fontenelle. We expect a lake level
at Fontenelle of about 2,400,000 acre-feet
by the end of the runoff season, which is
early July.

Fontenelle is being filled at a con~
trolled rate while we keep very close
observations on the response of that dam to
the filling and to the restoration and the
abutment grouting programs that have taken
place over the past year. Everything is
ready at Fontenelle for us to get into power
operation as soon as we get up to the rated
head on this controlled filling schedule.
That will probably be sometime this late
summer or early fall.

Navajo Reservoir has almost 600,000
acre-feet of storage with water surface
elevation at 5979. This is sufficient to
provide water at the Arboles boat ramp.
So the reservoir is expected to come up to
at least 5990 and we would not acquire a
great deal more storage there unless there
was some particular reason to do so until
the demands on Navajo for water supply for
the Navajo Indian Irrigation Project and
the industrial water uses downstream and so
on mature.

I

On the Curecanti unit, of course we
have the two reservoirs with water impounded,
Blue Mesa has 347,000 acre-feet at elevation
7435. The operation of the Blue Mesa Reser-
voir will be determined by the bypass limita-
tions at Morrow Point while the spillway is
being completed between now and October 31.
