In order for a final recommendation to be <br /> <br /> <br />presented for the Board's consideration, <br /> <br /> <br />it must have been presented to the Board through <br /> <br /> <br />preliminary notice at a prior Board meeting. <br /> <br />C. Public Comment <br /> <br />1. The public comment period begins with mailing of <br />the preliminary notice. <br /> <br />2. Comments may be make orally or in writing to the <br />CWCB staff. <br /> <br />3. Oral presentations may be made to the Board at its <br /> <br /> <br />meetings, but these should be supplemented with a <br /> <br /> <br />written statement when possible. <br /> <br />VII. Procedures for Filing Statements of Opposition <br /> <br />A. The director may request the AG to file statements of <br />opposition on behalf of the ewCB. <br /> <br />Such statements shall be filed only where the director <br /> <br /> <br />has reason to believe that a ewCB water right may be <br /> <br /> <br />injured if an application for a change of water right <br /> <br /> <br />or plan of augmentation is approved. <br /> <br />-6- <br />
