1

1

I would be happy to make myself available
for any questions anyone may ask."

MR. SPARKS:

"You are representing the city of Boulder?"

MR. DIEFFENDERFER: "Yes. I am the Director of Operations and
the Director of Flood Control and Storm Drain-
age for the City of Boulder."

MR. STAPLETON: "Any questions from the Board members?"

MR. SMITH: "Where are copies of these available?
Through your organization?"

MR. DIEFFENDERFER: "Through my office if you desire them, yes,
sir. 11

MR. SPARKS: "We also have a copy in our office."

MR. STAPLETON: "These areas having been requested for
designation by the appropriate officials, the
resolutions are in your folders, do I hear a
motion that the resolutions be adopted?"

MR. CORNELIUS: "I so mOve."

MR. BERTHELSON: "I'll second."

MR. STAPLE'1'ON: "It has been moved and Mr. Berthelson has
seconded the motion. Any questions, serious
or not? All those in favor will signify by
saying 'aye'; opposed - both resolutions are
unanimously adopted." (See Appendix C for these
resolutions).

MR. BERTHELSON:

"What I wanted to ask, Mr. chairman, was
this. We have passed a good many of these
resolutions. I am wondering, in the followup
have these cities or counties, local govern-
mental departments done any zoning? Is it
followed up or what is the progress there?
In other words, zoning has to ta~e effect
before the resolution means a thing. You
have to have zoning."
