"It has been regularly moved and seconded
that the minutes of the meeting of June 29,
1960, be approved as submitted. All those in
favor will signify by saying 'aye'; opposed -
the minutes are so approved.

I think, Larry, let's go down to Item
#5 on the agenda and have your report, if
you will, please."

"I might ask, ~tt. Chairman, was it the
idea that ltt. Hill's report would be made
later when the second flight gets back?"

"I think that is the idea."

"I have a very brief verbal report I would
like to make to the Board concerning the
status of our present projects. As you per-
haps read in the newspapers, the Senate
approved the Appropriations Bill for this
fiscal year which included funds for the
Curecanti and Florida Projects. I received
a wire from Senator Allott as soon as that
Bill was approved by the Senate and he in-
formed me that the matter would go to a con-
ference committee probably today. There
were very few differences between the Senate
and the House Bill. One of the .major differ-
ences, as far as we are concerned, is that
the Senate put in an additional $40,000 to
expedite the Animas-La Plata studies. We
anticipate that the House will go right along
with that move by the Senate and that by the
end of this week the President will have signed
the Appropriations Bill and we can get the
Florida and Curecanti Projects under way. As
you know, we anticipate that, with this addi-
tional $40,000, we can complete the Animas-La
Plata feasibility 'report by the end of this
fiscal year. If we do get the $40,000 that
