shortly and expect to get things really
started there.

On the Hayden-Archer transmission line,
also, there are no particular actions subse-
quent to the May 5th letter here that are of
significance. Progress there has been slow
in some areas and pretty good in others.

Not included in our May 5th report, but
I am sure of great interest and you no doubt
have seen most of it in the newspapers, is the
consent decree in civil Actions 2782, 5016 and
5017 which was entered by the united States
District Court for Colorado on April 16, 1964.
Following the entering of that consent decree
we did, in accordance with it, notify the two
cities, Denver and Colorado Springs, on May
lst of our forecast for possible out-of-
priority storage in Dillon Reservoir. We
followed that almost immediately with a meet-
ing with the City of Denver on May 4th, at
which time we discussed implementation of
that action and storage was started in Dillon
Reservoir at 5:00 P. M. on that date, May 4th.
The storage there has been worked out, the
recording of the action, and as soon as we
have perfected the accounting sheets on that,
the Regional Director of Region 7 will call a
meeting of all interested parties to go over
this accounting sheet so that everyone can be
aware at all times exactly what the actions
there are. These letters to the two cities,
dated May 1st, copies were distributed to
everyone in the state, I think, that could
possibly be interested in the action. Every-
thing about this action we want to keep clearly
in the public eye, not from the standpoint of
news items but so that all people that are in-
terested can have all the information that is
available.
