"If I read correctly, Mr. Aspinall can use
all votes like this this summer from qualified
voters: We will ask Nr. Sparks, after we
have considered this matter, to send them to
Congressman Aspinall in Washington."

"While we are on this subject, there is a
small matter that I would like to make as a
request in the form of a motion. That I could
have a letter from this Board, directed to the
members of the Craig Junior Chamber of Commerce
commending them for their interest in the con-
servation of Colorado water and acknowledging
receipt of these petitions and that this Board
will give due consideration to these, or words
to that effect."

"We have one of the finest resolution
drawers in the world, Mr. Moses. You have
made the motion and it was seconded by Mr.
Peterson, that Mr. Noses draw an appropriate
resolution to the Craig Junior Chamber of
Commerce. All those in favor will signify
by saying . aye'; opposed - so ordered." (See
Appendix A for resolution).

"Mr. Chairman, I don't know what the
parliamentary situation is with respect to
that former action of this Board. I remember
that one was tal_en and I am sure that Ted
does and I am sure Dave Miller does also. I
don't know what the parliamentary situation
is except Juniper has already been given
priority and, I presume and believe, that that
priority has been transmitted to the Bureau
of Reclamation. But, if there is any question
about it, I presume that a new action might
be taken today."
