Discussion followed by all CWCB <br />members present. The consensus was for the staff to review for discussion at the next <br />meeting the implications of filing for the decree. <br /> <br />12e. Colorado River Matters - Colorado River Model (5393-6290, tape 2) <br /> <br />A joint presentation was rnade by David Walker and Jeris Danielson. Discussion <br />followed by all CWCB members present. A motion was made by Sheftel and <br />seconded by Smith to endorse Ken Salazar's DNR budget initiative and support the <br />urgency to acquire a decision support systern. The motion passed by unanimous (8-0) <br />decision. The rneeting was then recessed by Chairman Jackson until Friday morning. <br /> <br />Friday Morning:. September 20. 1991 <br /> <br />Call to Order. <br /> <br />The meeting was called back to order by Chairman Jackson and there was a quorum. <br />Present were Lochhead, Eisel, Harrison, Jackson, Smith, Sheftel, Walker, Danielson, <br />Salazar, Meyring, and Martineau. Absent were Wright, Norton and Olson. <br /> <br />15. <br /> <br />Construction Fund: future directions (0-1960, tape 3) <br /> <br />David Walker, CWCB, and Ken Salazar, CWCB and DNR Director, opened the <br />discussion on the future direction of the construction fund in which all CWCB <br />members present participated. The staff was instructed to review further comments <br />from Board members and others and to prepare a draft proposal for public cornment <br />at the next rneeting. <br /> <br />13. Gunnison River Basin Water Management and Planning Project (1995-2614, tape 3) <br /> <br />Randy Seaholm, CWCB staff, gave a brief status report which was followed by a <br />discussion among all CWCB members present. Dave Miller, representing the <br />Collegiate Peaks Project, made sorne additional comments. The staff was instructed <br />to respond to a letter from Mr. Miller. <br /> <br />6 <br />
