United States Park Service Application for Water Rights in Great Sand Dunes National <br />Monument <br />Action: A motion was made by Eric Wilkinson with a second by John Redifer instructing staff <br />to file a Statement of Opposition in general support of water rights associated with the <br />Great Sand Dunes National Monument, expressing support ofthe strict interpretation of <br />the Congressional legislation, but reserving the right to impose terms and conditions to <br />protect Colorado water users under Colorado water law. <br />Motion was approved 9-0.
