I

I

MR. D. MILLER:

MR. STAPLETON:

MR. DAVIS:

MR. STAPLETON:

So we are going to have all the answers.
That is part of the program. We have to do it
under present conditions and make other assump-
tions as to new water that we'll get. I think
Dave will have all his answers."

"It is not only important that I have the
answers but that the public have the answers
generally. I'm glad that Stan pointed out that
this is one of the things that we have to know
because by assuming the construction of Two Forks,
you're assuming something that mayor may not
ever happen. Now if we are arriving at the
point where, regardless of whether its Hardin
or Narrows, we must also have Two Forks, then I
think this must be understood generally and
must also be one of the answers that come forth.

I was just trying to page through the min-
utes of the South Platte Steering Committee and
I don't find it but I'm sure that it was pointed
out by Cecil Osborne and by others who were
familiar with this stretch of the South Platte
River in an administrative capacity for irri-
gation companies, they make the flat statement
that during the months of July and August there
can be no appreciable exchange of any amount of
water into any of the three ditches to which I
referred - Henrylynn and Farmers Company through
the O'Brien Canal, Bijou through the Bijou Canal,
and Riverside through the Riverside Canal. In
any agricultural program, of course, the months
of July and August are the must and if there
can be no exchange during that time then these
proj ects would not be feasible."

"Are there any further comments on the re-
port from Region 7? Mr. Davis."

"I would like to say that I think Stanley
Miller stated the case very well. When we com-
plete this analysis I think we should have the
information that Mr. Miller is interested in."

"Thank you. Jim Knights."
