MR. STAPLETON:

MR. D. MILLER:

The Fryingpan-Arkansas Project - we have
been collaborating with the Fish and wildlife
Service on minimum flows on the eastern slope
and we've made a preliminary analysis of that
on the power production and further work is
going on so that we may submit a joint report to
the Secretary about the first of the year.

I

The Narrows Unit has already been discussed.
We are collaborating with the staff of the Water
Board on the hydrology studies that are necessary
and if we can assemble all the data perhaps we
can put it on the computer and shorten the time
for analysis of direct and exchange service
potentialities for both Narrows and Weld County
sites, both presuming Two Forks Dam and Reser-
voir in operation. In addition, we are taking
steps to initiate land classification on the
Henrylynn Irrigation District since they have
indicated they would be a principal customer.
Other engineering studies and economic studies
will progress. The problem there is reconnaissance
investigations. Those are moving forward. The
job is to define the needs and potential markets
of water as related to economic storage and at
that point we can proceed with further studies
and the feasibility investigations."

"Thank you, Mr. Davis."

I

"I have this question of Mr. Davis. On the
section as to the Narrows, my recollection is
that one of the problems involved here is
whether there will be a reservoir at Two Forks.
I did not understand the request of the Steering
Committee to make the assumption that Two Forks
would be built. I think what the people, who'
