HI agree with the Director's statements and
would so like to make the motion that this
Board favor the Director going before the
Legislature and asking for a $100,000
appropriation."

"I would like to suggest that we add the
following to that motion: To study, in
cooperation with the Bureau of Reclamation,
irrigation projects and to study the possible
small projects within the State preparatory
to getting them in readiness to share in the
Small Projects Bills now in the Congress."

"I second the motion."

Considerable discussion on the subject ensued.

MR. PETERSON:

"I would like to add an amendment to the
motion, as follows; That the expenditure of
this money, if it is allocated, be under the
direction of, and at the recommendation of,
the Colorado Water Conservation Board."

The motion by lIlr. Kelly, as amended, follows:

I move that this Board favor the Director
going before the Legislature and asking
for a $100,000 appropraition with which to
study proposed Colorado irrigation projects
in cooperation with the U. S. Bureau of
Reclamation and to study the possible small
projects within the State preparatory to
getting them in readiness to share in the
Small Projects Bills in the Congress; and
that the expenditure of this money, if it
is allocated, be under the direction of, and
at the recommendation of, the Colorado Water
Conservation Board,

On vote being taken the motion was carried unanimously.
