"vlhen will your operating principles on
that be released so the people down in the
valley can look at them?"

"The irrigation aspect of the project is
under the supervision of the Bureau of Recla-
mation. As you know, this is a joint project;
the Bureau has worked the entire irrigation
phase of it; they are responsible for consum-
mating a contract with the water users and
they are coordinating the operating principles
for irrigation with the local interests at
this time, as I understand."

"They have never settled them down at
Trinidad yet, have they?"

"To my knowledge they have not yet been
completed. Is that correct, Mr. Greer?"

"Yes. \tIe may have hit somewhat of a snag
in getting the water users down there to accept
the principles. They don't want to accept them
in the first form we have presented them in -
they don't want to accept the complete sharing
of water, they want to go back on priorities
when the reservoir is empty and perhaps when
it's full. Now we've got to look into this
further, as I reported very briefly, and see
how this effects the feasibility of the proj-
ect. If it doesn't effect the feasibility we
will be able to go ahead.

Mr. Redmond, we didn't know this until
