<br />Study Objective <br /> <br />The objective of this study is to identify and evaluate, at <br />a reconnaissance level of detail, the engineering and economic <br /> <br /> <br />feasibility of possible alternative storage facilities and <br /> <br /> <br />integrated combinations thereof for the further development and <br /> <br /> <br />improved management of the waters of the Cache la Poudre Basin, <br /> <br /> <br />including associated hydropower features. <br /> <br />Geographic Scope <br /> <br />The study shall examine only such storage facilities and <br /> <br /> <br />integrated combinations thereof as would be located in the Cache <br /> <br /> <br />la Poudre River Basin upstream from the city of Fort Collins. <br /> <br /> <br />However, in evaluating the potential use of such facilities for <br /> <br /> <br />the improved management of the already developed waters of the <br /> <br /> <br />Cache la Poudre River Basin, consideration shall be given to the <br /> <br /> <br />condition and utility of existing water storage and conveyance <br /> <br /> <br />facilities throughout the Cache la Poudre River Basin. <br /> <br />Required Evaluations <br /> <br />The study shall include: <br /> <br />(1) the identification of possible alternative storage <br /> <br /> <br />facilities and integrated combinations thereof, <br /> <br /> <br />including associated hydropower features, which could <br /> <br />-2- <br /> <br />,," <br />
