<br />costs of the selected firm must be met within this sum or such <br />lesser amount as may be agreed upon during negotiation of a <br />contract. The acquisition of capital expenditure Items will not <br />be permitted. <br /> <br />The firm selected must be able to initiate work immediately <br /> <br /> <br />upon the execution and final approval of a contract by the state <br /> <br /> <br />(mid-December, 1981). The consultant must be able to complete a <br /> <br /> <br />draft final report by December 1, 1982. It will be desirable to <br /> <br /> <br />complete the draft report in a lesser amount of time if <br /> <br /> <br />possible. <br /> <br />Conduct of the Study <br /> <br />The study shall be performed under the general guidance of <br /> <br /> <br />the CWCB. The conduct of all evaluations and analyses for which <br /> <br /> <br />the study calls shall be the responsibility of the firm retained <br /> <br /> <br />to carry out the study. <br /> <br />During the course of the study, the consultant shall make <br /> <br /> <br />frequent (not less than every two weeks) oral reports to the <br /> <br /> <br />CWCB staff on the status of the study. Written status reports <br /> <br /> <br />shall be submitted every four weeks. In addition, the consultant <br /> <br /> <br />shall be required to provide the CWCB with interim working <br /> <br /> <br />papers, rough drafts of chapters of the final report, and such <br /> <br /> <br />other interim products as will help insure that the study is <br /> <br /> <br />accomplishing its intended purposes. <br /> <br />-4- <br /> <br />. <br />
