<br />The study shall not include an evaluation of the economic feasi- <br /> <br />bility of the project (l.e., a cost-benefit analysis), nor shall <br /> <br />it include an evaluation of those recreational, environmental, <br /> <br />social, or cultural impacts of the project, be they beneficial or <br /> <br />adverse, which cannot be readily expressed in monetary terms. <br /> <br />A reasonable range of assumptions shall be made about the <br /> <br />future status of conditional decrees which are senior to the <br /> <br />storage decree held for the reservoir by the River District. In <br /> <br />turn, appropriate analyses of alternative reservoir operations <br /> <br />shall be performed to reflect such a range of assumptions. The <br /> <br />effects of such alternative assumptions on the yield of the <br /> <br />reservoir and its hydropower generation potential shall be <br /> <br />analyzed. <br /> <br />The consultant shSjll make every possible use of existing <br />J ').X-/. '() f9- <br /> <br />data; -&<+G- informat ionll\before performing any original data <br /> <br /> <br />collection, analyses, or field work. Field work (general site <br /> <br />investigations, soils sampling and testing, geologic <br /> <br />investigations, etc.), if required at all, shall be minimized. <br /> <br />Core drilling will not be performed given the limited budget <br /> <br />available. <br /> <br />Funding and Scheduling <br /> <br />S.B. 439 specifies that the cost of the study shall not <br /> <br />exceed $300,000.
