<br />Study Objective <br /> <br />The objective of this study is to evaluate, at an appraisal <br /> <br /> <br />level of detail, the engineering feasibility of and cost of <br /> <br /> <br />constructing the Una Dam and Reservoir, including potential <br /> <br /> <br />hydropower generation facilities. <br /> <br />Required Evaluations <br /> <br />The study shall include: <br /> <br />(1) an appraisal level evaluation of the yield of the <br /> <br /> <br />subject reservoir based upon the conditional water <br /> <br /> <br />rights held for the reservoir by the Colorado River <br /> <br /> <br />Water Conservation District (River District), <br /> <br />(2) an analysis of the potential uses, including on-site <br /> <br /> <br />recreational and hydropower generation, and places of <br /> <br /> <br />use of the water which could be developed by the <br /> <br />reservoir, <br /> <br />(3) preparation of appraisal level engineering designs and <br /> <br /> <br />cost estimates (including annual operation, <br /> <br /> <br />maintenance, and replacement costs), and <br /> <br />(4) an appraisal level evaluation of the revenues which <br /> <br /> <br />could be obtained from the sale of hydroelectric power. <br /> <br />-2- <br />
