me so I will leave you gentlemen but be-
fore going I should like to delegate my
vote to Governor-elect McNichols."

"The next order of business is the
approval of the Minutes of the last meet-
ing held November 19, 1956. Are there
any corrections or comments?"

"1 move that they be approved as sub-
mitted."

"Second the motion."

"It has been moved and seconded that
the Minutes of the last meeting be approved
as submitted. All those in favor signify
by saying 'aye'; opposed, the same."

Upon vote, the motion carried unanimously.

"The next item on the Agenda is the
estimate of cost of ground water investi-
gation program covering the'State. Dean
Crawford, do you have something to say on
this?"

'~ou will find copy of a letter to me
from Thad McLaughlin in your folders. I
believe we should give some consideration
to his estimate of costs at this time.
The letter is as follows: (See Appendix
A).

You will note on the third page the
estimate of the cost of the ground water
investigation, the counties listed, and
especially the last item. In 1954 an esti-
mate was given which came to $1,000,000
for the State's portion. This brings the
total cost to about $2,140,000 at the pre-
sent time for an adequate study. In view
of the last paragraph on page one of his
letter in which he says they might be able
