at this time or not. The matter of
the contents of the contract or agree-
ment that would be entered into between
the Board and the attorney. There are
certain items in there which were a mat-
ter of discussion before and the question
is whether we should get any commitments 1-
from either of these two gentlemen as to
whether or not they would be agreeable to
enter into the same contract as existed
between Mr. Chilson and the Board. I don't
know whether this matter should be dis-
cussed at this time or not."

"If it is pertinent to the decision the
Board is going to make, I think the Board
ought to know their reaction to this con-
tract. "

"Suppose the attorney selected didn't
agree to the contents of this contract?"

"Seems to me this question should be
settled now."

''Mr. Chairman, couldn't he be selected
with the idea he would agree to the contract
before he is given final approval by the
Governor and the Attorney General?"

"I think it would be almost automatic
that if he didn't agree to the contract
offered by this Board, he would be elimi-
nated from the candidacy."

"The contract runs considerably in
favor of the attorney rather than the
Board. "

in that? Having the contract drawn in
that way? Is the contract properly drawn
- shouldn't it be more binding on the at-
torney and less on the Board if that's
the case?"

the attorney is not fully in protection
of the Board then the contract itself
ought to be modified so that the Board
does remain in charge of the situation
