<br />If the Inner Floodplain District is not identified, it is <br />considered to be identical to the Designated Floodplain <br />District. <br /> <br />Mobile Home - A structure, transportable in one or more <br />sect1ons, which is built on a permanent chassis, and is <br />designed for use with or without a permanent foundation when <br />connected to the required utilities. The term does not <br />include recreational vehicles or travel trailers. <br /> <br />New Construction - Structures for which the "start of <br />construct10n" commenced on or after the effective date of <br />this ordinance. <br /> <br />Mobile Home Park or Subdivision - A parcel (or contiguous <br />parcels) of land divided into two or more mobile home lots <br />for rent or sale. <br /> <br />Nonconforming Structures - Any structure which does not <br />comply with the terms and provisions of these regulations <br />but which was in existence or for which construction had <br />started on the effective date of these regulations. <br /> <br />Nonconforming Use - Any use or activity which does not <br />comply with the use requirements of these regulations but <br />which was in existence on the effective date of these <br />regulations. <br /> <br />Obstruction - Any development, stockpile, refuse, or matter <br />1n, along, across, or projecting into any floodplain which <br />might impede, retard, or change the di rect ion of a flow of <br />water, either by itself or by catching or collecting debris <br />carried by such water. <br /> <br />Official maps - Maps delineating Designated Floodplain <br />Districts, including, where applicable, Inner Floodplain <br />Subdistricts and Outer Floodplain Subdistricts, and <br />Floodprone Districts which have been officially adopted by <br />the (Board of County Commissions, City Council, Board of <br />Trustees) and which have been approved and adopted by the <br />Colorado Water Conservation Board, as required by state <br />statutes. <br /> <br />Outer Floodplain Subdistrict - That portion of a Designated <br />Floodpla1n Subd1strict between the boundaries of the Inner <br />Floodplain Subdistrict and the boundaries of the Designated <br />Floodplain District. This subdistrict is defined by (one or <br />both of) the following concept(s): <br /> <br />a. Hazard area concept - The area of the Designated <br />Floodplain District where floodwater from the base <br />flood is less than 18 inches in depth or where <br />velocities are less than 3 feet per second. <br /> <br />-5- <br />
