This ruling has required CCWCD to acquire more . <br />senior water rights as well as build additional storage to augment out-of-priority diversions. <br />CCWCD is in the process of acquiring additional senior water rights. Given the low production of the existing <br />well, this project will add 2 new wells with 8,300 linear feet of ductile iron transmission lines to the <br />town's existing system. The Town of Akron is looking to have the wells operational by fall of <br />2005. The new reservoir . <br />will provide terminal storage for use within the District's existing 8,596-acre service area. The <br />reservoir will be located 3 miles southwest of Parker on Newline Gulch.
