<br />Colorado Water Congress - 24th Annual Water Law Seminar: The 24th Annual CWC .
<br />Seminar on Colorado Water Law will be held on September 26-27,2005 at the Colorado Water
<br />Congress offices, 1580 Logan Street, Suite 400, Denver, Colorado. The classes will be limited in
<br />size and will include several members of the State Legislature. The registration fee is $650 for
<br />Colorado Water Congress members and $1,000 for non-members. In 2004, this seminar was
<br />awarded 20 CLE general credits and 0.9 Ethics credits. Please check on CWC's website at
<br />www.cowatercongress.org and click on Meeting Notices where the program and registration
<br />forms will be posted as soon as available.

<br />Colorado Water Congress Workshops: AJI four of the workshops listed below will be held in
<br />the Colorado Water Congress Conference Room, 1580 Logan S1., Ste. 400, Denver, Colorado.
<br />CLE credits have been applied for each seminar and workshop. The CLE credits awarded
<br />during 2004 are shown in italics below. The workshops program and registration forms wiJl be
<br />posted to the CWC web site www.cowatercongress.org during the summer.

<br />Workshop on Endangered Species, October 13, 2005 - 7 General CLE Credits awarded 2004;
<br />Workshop on the Initiative Process: What You Need to Know, October 20, 2005 - 8 General
<br />CLE credits awarded 2004; and
<br />Workshop on Legal Ethics in Water & Environmental Law; November 8,2005 -- 9 General and
<br />7 Ethics CLE credits awarded 2004.

<br />CWC Executive Director ResignlRetires: CWC Executive Director, Dick MacRavey has
<br />submitted his retirement, and therefore, his resignation to the Colorado Water Congress Board of
<br />Directors. MacRavey will retire on March 2,2006 at age 75. He will have been with the Water
<br />Congress for 26 years, and worked in the so-called political vineyards for 49 years.

<br />Legislative North West Water Tour: On AugusU3, 24, and 25 the Legislature's Water
<br />Resources Review Committee will conduct a tour of Granby Reservoir, the Farr Pump Station,
<br />the Grand Lake Tunnel Station, Wolford Reservoir, Toponas, Lake Catamount, Stagecoach area,
<br />Steamboat Springs RICD area, Elk Head Reservoir Expansion, Meeker, Rio Balnco, Yellow
<br />Jacket project site, oil shale & gas sites, Deserado Coal Mine north ofRangely, the proposed
<br />hydro power plant, Dinosaur National Monument headquarters visitor center, and then return to
<br />Steamboat Springs. There will also be a tour of the Stagecoach Reservoir site and hydro plant on
<br />Thursday afternoon. There is a fee for a space on the tour bus of$IOO.OO, unless your
<br />organization is one of the sponsors of the bus tour who each get a seat(s). Please contact the

<br />reserve your space for this tour. This will be on a first come first serve basis as there is a
<br />limitation in seating.
