<br />SECTION F - DELIVERIES OR PERFORMANCE <br />F-l PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE <br /> <br />Three years of instrument installation, operation, calibration, and main- <br />tenance; cloud seeding operations; and analysis are anticipated. The <br />period of the contract is contingent upon funding availability, annual <br />review of performance, and actual costs. The final report is due by <br />September 30, 1987 (see subparagraph F-2.5 of this Section F). <br /> <br />F-2 REPORTING REQUIREMENTS <br />F-2.1 ANNUAL WORK PLANS <br /> <br />The sequence, extent, and degree of intensity of pursuit of any par- <br />ticular field of investigation will be established by the Principal <br />Investigator, after consultation with the Contracting Officer or his <br />duly Authori zed Technical Representati ve. Withi n 21 days from the <br />effective date of this contract, the Contractor shall submit to the <br />Contracting Officer for his approval five copies of an initial work plan <br />narrative statement reflecting the methods and technical approach to be <br />used by the Contractor in achieving the objectives and requirements set <br />forth in the contract. If such a statement was submitted as part of <br />Contractor's proposal and was accepted by the Government during nego- <br />tiations, no further statement need be submitted for the first fiscal <br />year. <br /> <br />For fiscal years 1986 and 1987, five copies of a revised work plan shall <br />be submitted outlining the work to be performed during the subsequent <br />12-month period, October 1 through September 30. A cost estimate shall <br />be included with the work plan, submitted in the same format as the <br />original cost proposal. The work plan and cost estimate shall be due on <br />or before September 1 of each year beginning September 1, 1985. <br /> <br />Detailed work plans, with research techniques and study procedures <br />defined, will be developed within scientific guidelines specified by the <br />Contracting Officer or his Authorized Technical Representative. The <br />work pl an shall be so detailed as to include: <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />(I) Specific tasks to be completed within an established time <br />peri od. <br /> <br />(2) Personnel involved, including time to be spent on each task and <br />approach to be used. <br /> <br />(3) Breakdown of costs to include salaries, travel, supplies, equip- <br />ment, and other direct and indirect costs. <br /> <br />(4) Listing of equipment and planned utilization. <br />(5) Listing of analyses to be performed and data to be delivered. <br /> <br />F -1 <br />
