4.3 Operational Weather SummarY

4.3.1 Februarv 1994

During this initial month, there were four seeding opportunities over the target
area occurring over portions of six days. The Willow Creek Pass Snowtel site reported
approximately 1.70 inches of precipitation during the seeded periods and 3.30 (unofficial)
inches for the entire month.

The fITS, seedable storm developed to the west of Colorado and moved across
Nevada, Idaho and Utah into the state in the late hours of the 7th and the morning of the
8th. This was a weak storm, however the Colorado Avalanche Forecast Center (CAFC)
